If u did ur own research u could find many things that will explain the fact of the Mayan calander ending. -
I bet the mayans in charge of making the calender just got lazy to finish the rest. One said to the other"u think the future generations would trip if we stop now?" other replied,"naah"

Just like I said in the other thread, the Mayan calendar is cyclical meaning as soon as it ends it starts over. It's a lot like our calendar, just over a longer period of time.

What's so foul is that the hysteria is created by non-Mayans who are creating their own interpretations. Mayans aren't saying the world will end, they say it's the end of an era. My wife was back in Guatemala last winter, and spoke to elders about it. They said it'll be a changing of the direction of the world to a more female energy. What that means, I don't know, but it doesn't mean a apocalypse.

The real Mayans are all dead and long gone. The whole culture was completely obliterated. That said it's jut a calendar and ancient people were not inspired by wisdom we don't have. Such things make good fairy tales but that's all

This is not the first time the mayan calendar has ended. This was their fourth or fifth one I believe. Like someone else said....it's just then end of an era

Its actualy the day wen all the planets will line up and they say it will efect the gravitational poll or some stuff and it just hapend to be the day the calender ended. So its a cowoncidence or the predicted it would hapen but idk

That's not true. There are still Mayan indios, especially in Guatemala, and some of the culture has been preserved.
As for "female energy," I'm not sure how to take that, but they are not predicting the end, just the end if an era (maybe like our Y2K was a new era?).

except that your 'proven fact" is false. There is no planetary alignment on Dec 21, 2012.That is an apocalypse!!!!! Haha jk my thought on this is that there will be changes in the world and the planets will align dec 21 2012 (proven fact) and there is science showing that the magnetic field is going through changes and is being affected by solar flares but solar flares aren't strong enough to harm us the planets align will be an exciting event but no natural disasters will happen
