Trying my first "hop" from Daytonta Florida to Orlando. Trying to go I-4 but I keep running into areas that say "not a valid rd". I 4 is a f&$king Hwy! Any thoughts or suggestions. I am tired of backtracking!

Try turnpike or however it's spelled.

I was doing a similer hop and found interstates suck... Try side roads, I had much better luck and didn't have to use as many police maps to get past dead spots.

There are always a lot of dead spots on hwys. Hop down the roads next to the highway.

Google maps location service is based on translating longitude/latitude positions into the nearest street address. Because highways often do not have street addresses, they are much more prone to "dead spots". Definitely try to stick to secondary roads, if they are an option
