I've owned both and mostly equals but I have 2 main points
Ps3 takes graphics
Xbox takes game choices and dashboard

Lol just pick a system that you are more familiar with. I had the XBOX, I liked it, so I chose the 360.

2 ps3's 2xbox's. I choose ps3 because everybody sucks😜 and xbox because it is way more fun, better graphics, wayyyyy more features and just better in everyway possible(accept that people give you a challenge on xbox)!!!

(I own both.)PS3, mainly because the interface is a lot more streamlined, there are tonnes of features and you don't have to fork out 80 bucks a year just so you can play online with a game that YOU paid for, on a console that YOU bought, using the Internet that YOU pay for. Also, PS3's can play Blu-Ray movies.

Ps3 all the way theres a game with 256 players on a single match it was pretty good and shows ps3 processing power plus blue-ray and no red ring of death you might have to buy a couple but ps3 has quality
