Any other home beer brewers out there? If so, what do you have fermenting/conditioning at the moment?

I started to a long time ago. Didn't do much and didn't have much time for it. Would love to start doing it again though

I've been certified as an Official Home Brewer Quality Control Tester. Somebody's gotta do the dirty work right?! 😉
So if ya got any samples... 🍺

I do spits and spots.
Did a cider and blackberry wine last year.
I'd like to get back into ales, not that I was ever much good at them at uni, they were more barley wines... -
Just kegged an IPA last week. Should be ready to tap soon. 🍺🍺🍺

I started my first home brew today, just something out of Mr Beer starter kit. I know it has mixed reviews and I hope I didn't screw up the West Coast Pale ale I have fermenting. Any tips or advice for me? I'm thinking of doing something more advanced if the pale turns out well. Probably stick with mr beer until I get it down, don't want to drop a lot of equipment money on ruined beers

I've never bought a kit, just got all the equipment and ingredients myself. Make sure everything is sterilised, unsterilised stuff will give ur brew a tangy off taste.
Maturing your brew really does improve the flavour, I know this from exp. I drank a bottle of my stuff a week after bottled and it was..... Different. Then I tried a almost 3 week old bottle and it taste really nice n sweet but really strong alcohol taste (8%) lmao. .
With my current batch, I've added some raisins as apparently it give the drink a sweet flavour so can't wait to try it. Almost finished fermenting now.

Definitely. I'm doing a basic pale ale so I plan to ferment for 2 week, bottle for 2 and condition for 2

What we brew here is in most places illegal but it (100% 🇺🇸 alcohol) mostly made from corn. It is clean enough to make 🔥 or to use as ⛽ in your 🚙🚗🚕🚌🚓. So bring on the 8% fruit juice 😉......

Also I have my fermentor in my kitchen, out of the sun light but in lots of artificial light. Would that affect it?
