Capturing turf

When Is it appropriate to capture another players turf and when does it just make you a duesch. I want to capture a bunch of turfs, but I kinda feel like an asshole doing it.

I don't think it makes you a douche...it's a game and that's how you get in top! It's called "turf WARS" for a reason:)

Word up. Thanks

Don't cap then out of the area

Fair enough

If you feel bad. Your playing the wrong game.

when is enough enough?
I had a guy rage-quit on me after taking 5 or 6 of his 40 odd turfs over a couple of days. He was level 65+ with less than 1500 mob, but fully loaded with Body armor, Lapuas and Steel Toes. Looked like he'd been playing for over a year. I had more mob, mostly armed with Galesis and AKs while I build up my stash. I've only been playing for 3 weeks, but I punch every code I can every day.
With this loadout my attacks were about 90% successful, but he couldn't hit me back. So he rage-quit. :( He was capping turfs off another player in the area who had even less mob. We were chatting, and I was going to offer him a vendetta so he could take some back. At least he has some breathing room now, though...
So the reason for this long-winded post is that I don't want to fall for the same trap with some other players I'm eying off. Any game is supposed to be fun - slamming people to the dirt like that is only fun for one guy.

Go ape. It's the only way people learn to play properly. I restarted playing this game but didn't bother mobbing up. Then someone stole my turf which made me mob up and kick their arse.

I think it's always appropriate to cap turf, just don't cap too many from one person, or cap someone out of an area (especially inactives)

thx guys - sorry for the hijack, Spinna, but now we've both learned something!
