Compared to the book the preview looks super bad compared to the book. The person playing catniss is about 21, 22 years old and catniss is sapost to be 17. I dont know if im just being nieve, or if there r other ppl who think the same thing yes no what r ur thoughts about the movie?

I think the movie isn't going to have as much violence as than the book.

Haven't seen the commercial for it though I will probably watch it anyway when it comes out. I've read the series, except the end of the third book, and it's good, especially the fighting

Katniss doesn't look anything like the way she's described in the books and the only movie that was ever better than the book was Forest Gump

Right, but most fans are happy as long as the director sticks to the book and doesn't try and do his own thing. Changing the ages does not help with this no matter how good the actress/actors are.

I think the movie is going to $&@% up but the books are fantastic. 60 pages left of Mockingjay.

Actors often portray younger characters. Thats not uncommon. Consider experience & maturity levels.

Exactly. But I don't think they could have messed up more than they did with Annabeth. She was supposed to be 12 with blond hair and grey eyes. She was in her twenties, had red hair and blue eyes. But the difference between 17 and 21,022 is even worse so the hunger games should be just as bad.
