Has anyone tried to leapfrog across a state by chain-building turfs? How much did it cost to build 1 mile?

May need Patsy to bust out the spreadsheets and do some math here. My algebra suxor

Haha. I was browsing the map & someone in Canada had done that. It was so funny. They made a beeline straight to a big group of turfs.

This does remind me of one of my failed strategies.

I drove to the Atlantic coast, walked out to the tip of a jetty, and then took out my iPhone.

My plan was to daisy chain turfs into the middle of the Atlantic so no one could ever capture them unless they had their own boat.

Imagine my feeling of stupidity when I discovered ya can't built turf on water.

Yep, that explains my one lonely turf, far south of Boston, sitting right against the water and near a jetty. A memorial to my stupidity.

Sigh...
