A guy I know says ghosts don't exist, plain and simple as that. He says that even with hundreds to thousands of years of claims and reports there is no way that it is true. Personally I am convinced to the point that it is not if they exist but they exist, no doubt.

I admit there are some unreliable claims but many hard to dismiss claims. Like if you were a true scientist looking at this with no opinion on it, you would look at tge sheer amount of claims and think, "Ok this is not real evidence by just looking at the amount of claims and the long history of claims of ghosts, but you have to consider the possibility of ghosts since if they did not exist there would not be this many claims of encounters but there is so there must be something since a lot of these people would not lie about this or they would not all lie since most of them don't even know each other."

Basically this guy says ALL and EVERY one that claims that ghosts are real or reports an encounter like this is lying no matter who they are.

I find this impossible since there are tens of thousands of claims and not all of them would lie or make this up. Plus a lot (likely thousands) of these claims are similar in ways and for every single person or people involved to lie about this seems very not possible since this is reality and most (like 95% I figure) of these people do not even know each other or communicate so for them to talk to each other and say make this up and lie or for them to all individually make this up is literally impossible.

What is your opinion on this?

There's plenty of evidence, but no one will ever believe a claim unless they see it first hand. I used to think shows like paranormal state or ghost hunters international or Ghost lab would show the truth and change some minds but most of those shows we're super fake (except the guys at TAPS or ghost hunters) and just added to the disbelieve. And I'd expect no one to believe me but I've done EVP's, random snappings and even built a franks box(look it up), with some good evidence (for fun). But if someone doesn't believe then I'm cool with that. I've had friends who were skeptical, who years later tell me they've had a paranormal expirence....

Yea good point. The best is being there first hand
