So I'm playing skyrim in bleak falls barrow and I'm looking for the golden claw and then I reach the part with the giant wounded frostbite spider or something like that. I have extreme arachnophobia. So I'm taking a break from that part and going to the college at winterhold. Anyone know how to get through that part with arachnophobia?

Turn the brightness on the tv all the way down and just pretend you're fighting a dark blob and it's definately not a spider....

You could also use the Wabbajack on spiders, as well as the ice wraith too I think.

There's a mod on PC which turns them into bears. Also, I used to make arrow to the knee jokes like you, until I took a maturity to the brain.
