Jesus birthday was September time. However it was changed two 25th December . If you don't believe me google it.
-
many christians believe christ was born 6th january.
25th was argued by a greek leader many many year ago -
Actually they don't know when Jesus birthday was. They speculate in the spring. So September is just another guess. Saturnalia who's is a Pagan ritual is the tradition that was adopted and is how we celebrate Christmas now.

Thanks bro but my birthday isn't for a few months.
I'm sure there's a few more guys names Jesus on this game so maybe your not talking to me?

Baby lambs, baby lambs are only born in the spring, christmas is actually a Pagan holiday well actually it's based upon the roman feast of saturnalia :) Christians just took it over and said it was his birthday because well no idea why but anyways HAPPY FAKE BIRTHDAY :) -

Was Jesus really born on December 25th? Virtually every month on the calendar has been proposed by biblical scholars. So why do we celebrate his birth in December?
The tradition for December 25th is actually quite ancient. Hippolytus, in the second century A.D., argued that this was Christ's birthday. Meanwhile, in the eastern Church, January 6th was the date followed.

I grew up in a Christian family , and to me today is to celebrate the gift form God of his son. Thank you all for the knowledge it's great to see others thoughts. And yes I agree it wasn't today ..

You were wrong, and according to the jewish faith, there's no afterlife anyways so so what? There hasn't been another messiah comming sonar Jesus' time, so it's worth checking into.Im Jewish.

Actually wrong the tradition today that we practice and call Christmas .. Mistletoe, caroling etc stem from pagan rituals and Satunalia existed before the "birth" of Christ. It is well documented that Christianity barowed from several other religions. Next your going to be telling me man existed with dinosaurs and are only a couple of thousand years old.Amish Hitman wrote:

"well documented? I believe that your documentation is horribly flawed in its conclusion. It is a historical mistake to assert that Christianity is "borrowing" from pagan religions when the "documentation" teaches the contrary. you must study your facts straight instead of listening to sound bits from antiChristian material. next you'll be saying I can't prove my own existence.₳ʉ₲ʉṣϮḭ₦ê (₳ⓑ€) wrote:

With all teachings, Christian or others people have the ability to choose what they believe I make it a point to not walk with blinders and form my own opinion. The victors write history but that doesn't necasarily make it true and to sit here and you claim that Christianity hasn't barowed from other religions just shows what what you choose to believe and this we will just have to agree to disagree.

Again as do.Christmas developed, one scholar says, as a means of replacing worship of the sun with worship of the Son. By 529 A.D., after Christianity had become the official state religion of the Roman Empire, Emperor Justinian made Christmas a civic holiday. The Roman festival of Saturnalia, Dec. 17-24, moved citizens to decorate their homes with greens and lights and give gifts to children and the poor. The Dec. 25 festival of natalis solis invicti, the birth of the unconquered sun, was decreed by the emperor Aurelian in A.D. 274 as a Winter Solstice celebration, and sometime (later)…was Christianized as a date to celebrate the birth of the Son of Light. Yep I don't research.

OK, its too easy to copy and paste from google so I will call you out on things you already put down, "replacing" is NOT the same as "copying" or "borrowing" that is a genetic fallacy. yes I do agree that some of the ideas of these festivals are used because of the essence of their meaning, not because they are along with saturn they are worshiping. yes the tradition of saturnalia predates the birth of Christ but many of these traditions only continue in its true meaning. The giving of a savior and not the bankrupt philosophies and religions. And No Zeitgeist is not research.

God sent down His only Son to be mocked tortured and killed by the very people He was forgiving the sins of! Take time to thank Him for this, no matter when Christ was born I am just thankful He was! Merry Christmas!

I don't care if you support the Flying Spaghetti monster, Allah, God or whatever. If it drives you to be a better person and doesn't hurt others then go ahead. See people want to label me as antichristian when that is the farthest from the truth. I'm just open to ideas and a discussion.
