Live thus game and was surfing through the app store & saw a new game that I fear will affect TW. First off let me start by saying that this is a great game but I saw a new one which only ppl in the US can play called"massively multiplayer States War" it looks darn interesting and is separated out into US, Europe, Asia etc coming out later. GPS based. Nick, pls take note. Maybe the US players can give some sort of feedback. Sorry if this is in the wrong section or u are upset. TW is undoubtly great to play but I remember reading somewhere bout where TW is headed..

I took a look at that game. It's kinda cool. Good to see more games where your geography shapes your teams and enemies

I downloaded it. Not sure I like it yet. Can't give a full trial and feedback until tomorrow tho. It seems like a totally different type of game so far I'm not sure it will directly enter into competition with tw

To me the game doesn't seem as social as turfwars, which is one of turfwars' main selling points.

I downloaded it out of curiosity. Looks like it's only good for a couple minutes of gameplay a day.

Nothing like Turf Wars, no social capabilities at all from what I see.

What I love about Turf Wars is there's always something you can do...burn stamina, run missions, read the forums, post on the forums, bump your code & punch some codes.

I took a look. It's very interesting. Nice concept.

Yeah, I'm going to echo the sentiment. There seems to be no individual gameplay there. Also u only can play a few minutes a day. (there is a social aspect, but u need to log into twitter!) It also seems like it's going to favor larger states like CA eventually.

I think this is great - there are so few GPS-based games out there now, and the vast majority of people have never played one before.

The more people who get involved in GPS games the merrier. A couple of years ago no one played Facebook games, fast forward to this year and there are companies with millions of users.
