I have been with my husband 7 years and we have no Christmas traditions. I would love to start some but have no idea what?!? What are some of yours?

Lol.. I mean how do you celebrate? Like some families all make cookies together.. Others have a picnic.. And I don't really know what else which is the point for the thread

We have these AMAZING traditions we do.

First we go to the woods with a saw. We find this beautiful fir tree and cut it down and bring it home. Here's the really cool part... we decorate it!! Yes, it's crazy - tinsel, little glass ornaments, strands of light. You should see it!

Then we do something else - we go out to stores and buy things that our love ones would like and .. here's the kicker - we cover them in this paper-material with bows and tape and then we PUT THEM UNDER THE TREE for the recepient to open and remove the paper on Christmas morning.

These are just a few of our traditions. Unorthodox I know but we really enjoy it!

My wife and I stay at her parents house christmas eve night. We have no children though. Yet...

Lol we eat food at a foreign restaurant like Chinese or Italian.

Lol.. I know your being a smart ass but in Australia we don't cut down real trees, we buy fake ones. So it's not as sarcastic as it was meant to be.. Lol.

Don't know about anyone else but we've always get pretty tuned up on whiskey after mass.
