Question about zombies
Forums › General Discussion › Question about zombies-
Alot of ppl say they can't swim... Ok but what if they can't drown. And you drop the anchor they're at the sea floor bottom.... Climb up... What then? Abandon ship when it's over run? You still have alot down below lookin up at you and let's just hope there's no stupid fish around that got infected especially sharks. Otherwise you'll really be screwed.

So what do you do when a zombie can't drown?
-
You should always be observant and always be in 20 feet of water when on a boat
-
Fact and fact...someone just read World War Z
-
What would attract the zombies to the ship/ island? Even if they could survive the trip underwater(which I believe they could) what would be the purpose of them going there?
-
They can swim people!
~ Plants vs Zombies. Play it.

Zombies don't need air to breath, they have no need for a respiratory system or cardiovascular system. They are basicly just a brain stem.

But air is released from their lungs when they moan so air can still be in there lungs for some reason.Zombies don't need air to breath, they have no need for a respiratory system or cardiovascular system. They are basicly just a brain stem.

haven't heard of tropical rabbits but I know there's small islands with rats on them brought on by settlers who land there to avoid a storm or somethingPrimo Loco wrote:

It's really depends on what kinda zombie we are talking about. George Romero zombies didn't really swim as much as walk on the bottom, as seen in Land of the Dead, and Dawn of the Dead(assumed), and Dance of the Dead. Voodoo zombies can swim, or wade im water as well, but it seems like most infected type zombies are incapable of swimming or crossing bodies of water. Which is clear in left 4 dead 2 and 28 days/weeks later. Alien zombies however are a toss up. We could get easy to deal with headcrabs from half life, or we could get hive mind intelligent zombie hoards like in warhammer, starcraft, and the movie "the Faculty".

If we faced the zombies from 28 days later we all are screwed

Keep a machinegun armed guard at the rope to the anchor and possibly a sniper

In the book "world war z" this is what happens. Since they are dead they do not have the different pressure in there chests and they sink.Alot of ppl say they can't swim...
