Landmark vs city name

Can you tell by looking at the turf map what google considers a landmark bs a city... I found a really cool place on the map that I want to become capo of, but can't tell if it's an actual city name.

Hit the place turf button. It will tell you the name and location as it will appear if you actually place the turf.

The problem is that it's about an hour drive from where I am...

Doesn't matter. It will tell you that you are too far away, but it will still give you the info.
