For me, I Played imob before and got bored of it. Played eliminate for awhile but the loading times were frustrating and I wasn't a fan of the controls. I think I was looking around in the app store for and game similar to civilization with the capturing cities and building up armies style. I must have entered the word "turf" and found this.
