So today I mentioned that I would be doing a polar bear dip to support children's cancer research on Jan 1st to a friend here in turf wars that I have never had any real life contact with and gave him the link to check out. A couple hours later I get a msg that he has donated 100$ to the cause. I was blown away that someone would do something like this. I would like to say a heart felt THANK YOU to that person for his generosity.

the generosity of this community really is fucking spectacular. I know some of us have graciously accepted the kindness of fellow players to help get us where we are today. living. doing. I know I've been out of touch but mostly because I'm working a gazillion hours getting my life on track and sometimes choose sleep over iPhone gaming. But always, I lurk.

So yes. unexpected. and unexpectedly incredible how much of an impact it makes when the turf wars community contributes. life changing. life saving. just saying. seriously though.
