Sorry to hear that man. I lost my dad when I was 8. It's definitely a hard thing to deal with but things will get easier with time.
-
Yeah I hope worst thing is I fount out he was sick on a Thursday night my time and he passed away sunday morning ( 5am ) my time never got to say good bye and I couldn't fly over to the funeral ( I sent flowers )
Just a bit lost -
Sorry for your loss. Have to think he's in a better place now 😔🙏
-
Yea that would be tough to not be able to say goodbye. Are you making arrangements to go see him?
-
Hopefully in 12 18 months I can go soo where the ashes were spread

Funerals are not my type of thing. I hate death. I've had two older ladies in my life pass away who were like my own mother. Makes me think about my life and how quickly it is. Must make every moment count my friend.
-
Wow man I am so sorry for your loss. My best friend lost his mom a year ago didn't get to say goodbye ether cause he was away at school. Just keep your head up man I am truly sorry.
-

Cap turf to help relieve the stress/pain (it works) sorry for you loss

I've lost grandparents, my favorite cousin, and a lot of friends. Give yourself some time to mourn. Cry, scream, cap turfs, whatever you need to do. But know that it WILL get better, and you WILL move forwad. When you feel ready, choose something - the gym, art, etc. - positive to do, and move forward. Best wishes to you homey, you'll get past it with time. Trust that.

I have a question for you all..... Is it bad that I'm unmoved by peoples deaths? I mean I do feel sorry for the families
but I mean when some of my friends have died or even my grandpa (granted I've never met him) died I wasn't moved. I wanted to be sad but idk if I subconciously blocked it or just didn't accept it idk. What do you guys think? Could it have been from the enviroment that I grew up in? (East Los Angeles) -
@Junior There is no correct response to death. Everyone deals (or doesn't deal) with it in their own way.
But when you grow up in the kinds of places we did, where you're surrounded by death, most people get desensitized. It's a coping mechanism. So naw, if anything, it's a normal reaction.

I lost my great gramma and uncle, that's why I'm going inactive.
-
I'm sorry for your loss...stay positive and remember the good times ;)

Death is only a temporary inconveniance. I hope he's in a better place.

So sorry to hear that.
Lost my dad a few years ago. Was truly devastated. Has taken me a long time to deal with it. The first month or two was like a fog. Unreal quality to it.
It will get better though. Be patient and kind to yourself right now.
Remember that as long as you keep his memories and your love alive in your heart, he continues to live on.
All my positive thoughts go out to you. Huge hugs.

I'm truly sorry about your dad.

That sucks I hope you feel better

I lost my dad last year. Not a day goes by without thinking about him. I often think about things I could have done differently. My best advice is take time to mourn, but live a life that would make him proud.
-
I'm so sorry for ur loss I've never lost anyone so I don't know how it feels but I can only imagine, may your dad requiscat in pace.

My great grandpa died when I was in the same house as him. Even walke in on the NYSE and my grandma trying to keep him alive. Then my great grandma. Then no one for a long time. The in October of fourth grade my favorite cousin was hit by a train near his house and died. In June of that same year I got in a fight with some kid and lost what I thought were my best friends, and 2 days or so later my dog that we had since I was born died. My aunt (?) (my dads stepfathers daughter) currently is fighting cancer. Things will get better over time, but at first it will really suck.Just do whatever needed to get better, but stay away from drugs and bad things like that. Art, music, anything.

My dad died eleven years ago so I know how you feel. I'm sorry for your pain, you'll get better soon
