I finally got my ipod back but all my apps were deleted (assholes) and the app store is being very very stupid. I can't download anythin. I can search up turfwars but once I press the button to download it, it doesn't respond. None of the apps let me. Everythin works fine with the few apps that I do have but my question is, is there any other way I can download Turfwars again?
I've tried turning it off and leaving it alone but that didn't work and the only available computer right now takes hours just to open iTunes (or do anythin for that matter. I think I'm better off with a dial up than this piece of shit) im lost in what to do

This problem just recently started a couple days ago. You can't press the free button right? I'm calling apple tomarrow to see what the deal is because it effected my iPod too.

From what I looked up it seemed to be the 3.0 software on the 2nd gen iPods.

Update ur 2nd gen iPod to 4.2.1. The highest it can go. Then try it.
If it is already 4.2.1 (settings > general > about) then see what apple has to say

I knew it was 3 something
and I need a computer to do that but the onky available one takes HOURS just to load up somethin so simple so if you guys went through like 8+ hours with YOUR computer
it'll take like 8+ days with mine

Most of the ppl I know either now live closer to the college, are at a university, or went to Mexico (can't go into Mexico mainly since I don't have a passport and cus too many ppl try to start shit with me) so basicly no :\ and I think I need to restore it before I can update it right and idk what they used to jailbrake it

Just came here to post that link Zraygo posted. It's a glitch that will be fixed at some point.

In the meantime, you should be able to download from iTunes on your computer, and then sync it to your iPod.

Looks like your only option is to get to a computer.... Or fire up yours and check on it at the weekend to see how you've got on lol

lol I might just buy a laptop I got onky about $600 and I need some for school when I got back but I could also use the laptop hmm which one do you prefer (that's still kinda cheap)

Buy a new laptop or use a friends laptop who doesn't have an I-device. It will update and register the changes to ur device on that iTunes and it will be the same on your computer. 5 comps are allowed iTunes for 1 device and update on one, it updates on all. Then unauthorize the device on their comp.
Simples.
Btw I had to sit through 24+ hours on my second gen before iTunes 10 came out. After that it did it in less than 5 XD

I talked to them and they said their aware of the problem and to try again in a few hours. Not too helpful. Mine has been like this for 3 days now.
