In reading the loot forums, I saw some people suggest that their odds of loot increase if they break it up and do some non loot missions in between, so until double loot week I will only be doing non loot missions. Maybe it'll increase my chance of loot for the new mission!? Can't really hurt to try!

I'll only be on at Christmas eve. Leaving Christmas day, hopefully I get the secret weapon.
