All whole maple wood four piece set pacific all the way. Custom Steve jorden snare and K custom dark 14" hi hats with a 20" k custom dark ride. Dw piccolo snare. 7000 double pedal. 😭

Im trying to learn. I don't have my own drums though. My dad just got a black beauty snare, which I guess is the most recorded snare drum in rock & roll. He was on a super long waiting list for it. I just saw it today & it is beauuuutiful.

That's a good, phat snare. Another great snare (for very cheap) is the Ludwig Acrolyte, if you can find one, from back in the day. It used to be a student drum.. it's metal. I got one for $90 bucks...It sounds fabulous recorded. Phat thwack.

I've two sets. Yamaha DTX 3 electronic. I think it's a 3 anyway. And a Ludwig CS Custom which came with a really nice sounding snare. Haven't played in a long time. Makes me sad. 😏

Tama Art Stars w various Zildjians (A, K, and Z series) in storage collecting dust. I pretty much only play my Roland V-Pro kit now (6 piece mesh heads + V-cymbals, upgraded TD-10 drum module). Nice to be able to put on headphones and wail away without pissing the neighbors off. ;)

I have an old 5 pc Pearl Export set from the early 90's. Remo heads.
All Zildjians: 13" A custom mastersound hats. 20" K heavy ride. 16" A custom projection crash. 18" A medium crash, and a 12" ZBT splash.
My favorite stick is Pro Mark "natural" 5B with nylon tip.

I mainly play country or classic rock in my old age. Not in a band, just play along with my iPod, and my Grado cans.
