It's a very good medication for insomnia as its milder than the addictive drugs people normally take for it.Medical marijuana is just a cover up to smoke weed. There are doctors who specialize in writing marijuana prescriptions. You can get it for something as simple as insomnia. Of course there are plenty of fakers out there. This about all I know. Sorry I couldnt be of more help.

I'd be dead without those "man-made" medications, thanks.ßelial wrote:
I just think of the incredible problems with man made medications that require other meds to side the side affects. It's a scam for the government to ban something that is actually more health for your body than prescription medsColonel wrote:
Legal often times means more expensive and doesn't necessarily mean easier to get. Not everyone would be "fried" as just because something is legal doesn't mean everyone is going to do it. I mean is everyone drunk all the time or twacked on caffeine just because it's legal? But if u change the policies(wich wud take along time) then what? Everyone is absolutly fried all the time because it will be easier to get ahold of it!

No one said man made medicines are bad. But often times going natural when possible is much better as natural cures have less side effects.

Everyone who has smoked marijuana and or knows what it does exactly by being by someone who smokes it should watch the movie "marijuana madness". It's the propaganda film showed to our grandpas and grandmas and their Fam that basically "showed" how people sopposably act when they smoke weed... It's pretty bad how people eat up what people tell them. People don't really have a valid excuse to why they don't think it should be legal xD.

Fuck this. I'm not in the mood to even state my opinion.

Marijuana has no physically addictive properties. Anything beyond that is psychological. It's amazing how restrictive our government wants to be about so many harmless things and yet they decide to let people ruin their lives on marijuana. Once you are hooked, there is no going back, whether you acquire it legally or not.

Are there people who go to the cannabid clubs who just want to get high? Of course. Just like there's people who go to the doctor to get pills to get high on. And marijuana can be abused, like anything. But that doesn't mean some people don't benefit tremendously from it. How many people pop oxy, vicodin, xanax, etc. to get high? And all of those are far more dangerous than marijuana. As for deaths, medical costs, etc., what kind of toll do you think alcohol has?

I smoked for years when I was younger. I quit years ago because I stopped enjoying it. I didn't graduate to meth and heroin, I didn't snatch purses to pay for it. There goes your theory. What's amazing is how many drugs ARE legal that are abused, both legally and illegally. How many driving and violence related deaths are alcohol involved in? How many people OD on prescription drugs? It's amazing how restrictive our government wants to be about so many harmless things and yet they decide to let people ruin their lives on marijuana. I know people who became addicted, and maybe you don't. But regardless, marijuana still has loads of health concerns, which may make the problem it is supposed to fight, worse. I'm getting my information from

Every prescribed drug (man made) has a side effect. Many people have to run that risk to get the benefit of the medicine. Ask any cancer sufferer or those who need treatment for cancer. Marijuana has a huge upside, and for those who are suffering form pain ALL OPTIONS should put on the table. like i said, weed cannot be made legal; the system is not setup for people to gain the upside from it.Add: PWNY wrote:

Bwhaha. A MINIMUM of a 1/3 of the USA has admitted to trying marijuana. And those are just the people that acknowledge it. I certainly have smoked weed. And you would be amazed at how many other drugs I HAVEN'T done. How many crimes I HAVEN'T committed. And how many people I HAVENT killed with my "recklessness". It's much much less powerful than alcohol or any narcotic I've taken prescribed. How many accidents/deaths have you seen come from Mary Jane? Also, how many people do you know that have a serious drug problem like meth or heroin due to smoking weed? How do you justify your linkage if so? And, do you have any understanding of why certain people do hard drugs or do you think the lead is weed?41Fivin' wrote:

@ Addi: Let me ask you a question: where are you getting all this information? Let's ensure that we are all using reliable, unbiased sources for our arguments. Are you basing your arguments off of fact, or whatever rumors are going around at your school? I will take the liberty to answer your questions when you answer mine.

8 years ago I was diagnosed with PTSD and social anxiety disorder after an assault where I got my face kicked in. I went through years of counseling and took anti-anxiety meds for a while, but pot seemed to help more than the others with fewer side effects. Unfortunately as I stated earlier it is not an acceptable use in Washington because it is a psychological disorder. I have smoked daily for almost 5 years and live in fear of our government because they don't accept it as a legitimate treatment. I can tell you from personal experience of interacting with legitimate medical patients that marijuana does not impair most abilities, and some will argue that it makes them more sociable when dealing with the general public. No one knows when I've been smoking because I'm a hardworking, functioning member of society.
