What's the best pattern to sleep through the day on a night shift

I work 10pm to 7am. I normall get home watch tv for an hour and then sleep. That way it's still daylight when I wake up. Used to sleep Til 8pm. Sucked waking up in the dark.

I'm lazy 😄 and it usually takes awile for me to fall asleep ------------------------------------- so when I work I get home in-between 3-5 am and I play video games, wait for my gf to get off 7:45 - 8 am, we eat, run errands and then go to sleep at around 9-10 am get up at 5 pm (be there at 5:30) and do it all over again ☺

Depends I work 7 til 7, so I get up normal in the morning, then go back about lunch time for 3-4 hours, to reduce my actual awake time, then next morning I come home and go straight to bed

when I'm on nights I try to get to bed by 8am. If I can sleep until noon or 1pm I'm ok and can function.

I used to work 7pm till 7am, I'd get home and go straight to sleep so I'd sleep 8am till 4pm. (I have to get 8 hours) I found it was a good pattern for me, as I could meet friends as they finished work, and get a quick meet up and dinner with them before work
