In the next few days, i need to start typing up my research paper. My topic is liberal bias in modern media. Any ideas on some good internet sources?
-
Me. US media I'm clueless, but UK media and the various political influences over here I'd be happy to give you some info on.
-
Hmm your project already appears to be biased. Use google scholar to access academic journals/articles.
-
Nah sorry. Its only US media. Thanks tho. I have fair.org, but i cant find any other good ones.

isnt the whole point of a research paper to be biased? And i chose liberal media bias because it pissed me off during the 2008 elections. Oh, and im not alowed to use google, yahoo!, ask, or bing. 🙎Hmm your project already appears to be biased. Use google scholar to access academic journals/articles.

Google scholar finds academic articles for you - it is not a google source.

I've heard a lot about "liberal bias" in the US media. I always find it astonishing as to my eyes the US TV news is bias against a 'liberal' outlook. I also think it's interesting that the word 'liberal' is so hated in the US - after all the US is a liberal democracy commited to liberty.
-
Oh and make sure you get a Chomsky quote in there!

The kind i am talkin about is kinda like when obama CHEATED during the election, and it was never talked about, except for fox news. Also, the first lady just admitted obama was born in kenya. If obama was republican, it would be all over the news. It is ILLEGAL to be born anywhere other than the US and still get eletected.
Btw, most people in the US are liberal. Not the other way around.

Good work. Sometimes it's a good idea to search for quotes find one you like and then read where it is from - rather than having to search through lots of articles to find one quote.

As for the US president cheating.
1. What evidence is there that he was born outside the US?
2. You don't need to be born with the US to become president anyway - have a look at the Naturalisation Acts.If you accept these points what does this tell you about fox? Perhaps all media whether in public or private hands has an agenda and thus is biased. Can we really talk about liberal bias while pretending that we are neutral?

I just want to know if this was a project that your school assigned or not. If it is I think u'r school should face a lawsuit.

First lady Michelle Obama said it in an old video going around on the Internet.

I'll try and find the video itself for you.
