Don't mean to sound like a dick.. But x31 are not surround sound. Just clarifying. They can be made surround sound with the dss adapter for $80, but thats what the x41 are

X41 and x31 are pretty much the same and it does have surround sound theres three settings normal, surround, bass boost, bass boost and surround sound. The x41 just come with a stand charger that's pretty much the only difference

Wireless STEREO. The surround setting is simply for the people who upgraded their headset with the DSS. I sell this stuff for a living, I know what I'm talking about
