EXACTLY
That's exactly it.

I think on almost every medication I've ever taken drowsiness has been a possible side effect. Yet most haven't made me drowsy. I always laugh at the Benadryl info since possible side effects are both drowsiness & excitability.

i guess you're right about the dr. thing, mystery. i had already been on several medications before so i knew about the alternate medications. i read the insert. every other word was something i didnt understand. if i dnt understand, its the rx's or dr's obligation to explain.
i guess everyone thinks its excuses lol but its what happened to me. i know better know. -

I said, "did you ask the doctor if there was an alternative to taking medication," not ask if there were alternative medications.i guess you're right about the dr. thing, mystery. i had already been on several medications before so i knew about the alternate medications. i read the insert. every other word was something i didnt understand. if i dnt understand, its the rx's or dr's obligation to explain.
i guess everyone thinks its excuses lol but its what happened to me. i know better know. After reading the insert & not understanding it, did you then call the doctor or pharmacist & ask them to explain prior to taking the medication?

I totally trust my Dr. In the UK we may moan about the state of the NHS but let's face it. I can get 3 months of whatever the doctor subscribes for under £8.00. I can go see them anytime without paying. Imagine not been able to seek help just because you couldn't afford it.

Yes, most people in the uk don't know how good they have it. When I first came here I got a simple chest infection. It cost me £50 for GP and £60 for antibiotics! I nearly cried in the chemists!!I totally trust my Dr. In the UK we may moan about the state of the NHS but let's face it. I can get 3 months of whatever the doctor subscribes for under £8.00. Some of my meds can make me go abit wooo! I spent 20 minutes apparently laughing at my hand once no memory of this though. Plus some of my pills are depressants and some are anti depressants, and I'm on tranquillisers and uppers...I'm sure those are some wacky combinations! Lol
