I honestly was creeped out by anime until, and avoided those American kids in high school, and especially those adults in college who felt compelled enough to go as far as to wear headbands with weird symbols, or having note books with brightly colored bug eyed creatures on them, until I was around 22.

Then one night I went to my friends place to drink a few beers and watch some movie he bought. It was the live action movie of "Death Note". It was really interesting, and totally different yet familiar at the same time. Then I found out my friend had the part two of the movie, and the entire anime series it wss based on. I inadvertedly got seduced into watching anime, and getting smashed with my best friend for like two days. It was an alright time lol. My opinions changed about anime, and while I'm not stocking up on anime shit at hot topic, I can see why people get a bit obsessed.

I watch Bleach with my cousin and read the manga
