iPhone screen busted!!!

I dropped my iPhone 3g today and destroyed the screen. I was planning on upgrading soon anyway so not such a big deal. My question is, how much $ is it to upgrade to the Iphone 4??? Are there any other phones that compare? I have AT&T for a carrier. Thanks!

I had that phone. It was crap. I had to get it repaired and or replaced close to 10 times

I threw mine down three flights of stairs and still couldn't kill it.
And it's predecessor, the brick phone, you could drive nails with....
