They have footage of a group of civilians- including two Reuters journalists- being slain by American forces from an Apache helicopter in 2007. The footage is quite shocking. See the website for more

It's real..it's on news...

All the major news stations have the story and are currently treating it as legit.

This site also published the notorious emails from those climate scientists, and some other things which I cannot remember.

Screw all of you who are talking smack about the pilot and gunner. If you haven't been there then you don't know what it's like to PID a target so shut the hell up! Also nobody made those reporters go over there and hang around insurgents so in my opinion they got them selves in that situation so piss off!

That's not what I said. If you have ever been on ground in a TIC then you would understand how hard it is to get a positive ID on combatants. The men with the AKs and RPGs where breaking the LOAC so the Apache was cleared to engage them. It is not there fault that they brought thier children to the battle. Also try picking out a kid in a van from 150 to 200 feet up in the air while you have enemy troops moving around on the ground.

I've said this elsewhere.. This was an honest mistake. This is war. It's kill or be killed. I feel bad for the victims, including the gunner. If you are going to be a photographer in a war zone, don't use a two foot long lens and crouch down behind a wall In the presence of a gunship without a uniformed escort.

I dont understand why this was leaked in the first place. I wouldnt want to see my family members getting killed. Clearly the military involved thought they were the enemy. What purpose does this serve other than to prove warzones are dangerous?

It was on the news so it ain't fake

That is one of the most incorrect statements you can make. Just because something is on the news does not make it real. There's no reason that anything on TV (news or otherwise) could be fake or misleading. I am in no way stating that this particular incident is fake or real...but don't assume that just because it is on the news that that makes it real. Question everything. It was on the news so it ain't fake

It's real the US confirmed it, what worrys me is how happy they were to kill people and children.
-
I would imagine that anyone who is in the business of killing/war has to have some kind of way to cope with the act of killing...and if that means "enjoying" killing your "enemy", then so be it. I hope to never be put into that situation.
