Well I like macs. I have an iMac g3 and an iMac intel from 2008. Both great computers. Post your prefered computer and your reasons why.

The big mac is the best at mcdolnalds and I kinda like apples but u can't eat a PC

PC for gaming. I would use Linux but most games don't work. Apple sucks. The software is for idiots and the hardware is average for how much it costs. And apple are always trying to find new ways to make money off you. Look at iTunes. 70p for 1 fucking song. That's why I torrent as well. And every year a new iPod is released that is hardly improved at all eg new one has camera that does films but not stills but why the eff not?? So they can include it as a future feature so idiots buy it. And I know I sound like a hipocrit but I got mine on sale and other decent mp3 players are a rarity.

I'd say Macs are better, we have a Vaio (laptop) & a Dell (desktop). The Vaio is a great computer but its had problems since day 1 and the Dell has a virus. I'm not really a PC fan anymore largely because of this, can't wait to get a Mac.

yeah before my iMac, my family had a compaq desktop and before that, windows 98 gateway desktop. I was really young when I had the gateway so I don't know if it had that many problems(though if it's windows 98, I'm almost sure it did) but the compaq had windows xp and was always spazzing and not working well. It took forever to boot up and after the computers hard drive failed, my family moved to macs. And we got an external hard drive to save us from paying to get all our old files back. And I also add, my compaq desktop didn't have a hard drive failure, it was close to a hard drive failure and stopped working so we called in some tech repair person who said it was close to failing.

I prefer OSX, or any *nix operating system on PC. I know Apple's hardware is very expensive for the specs but the build quality is the best. My last MacBook lasted over 3 years, twice as long as any other laptop I've ever had.

That said, I've got an Acer laptop now, great price for the specs, build quality is awful. Windows 7 is growing on me... I have to run that for the audio software I want to use. REALLY wish Microsoft had given me a real install disc though so I could try Linux or FreeBSD on it...
