England hasn't had an earthquake in I dunno actually. Let's just say a looooooooong time ago lol

I just finished watching 2012 and found out there's been an earthquake in California. Spooky.
-
Haven't you had some weak ones? Maybe around 4 or so?
I wonder how strong it has to be to be considered an earthquake... -
No England is a looping way from the nearest fault line we may have tremors but they r too small to feel
-
Loooong*

LA is supposed to be doomed anyway, 1 big earthquake and your gone

About 5 years ago there was one in the early morning. 3am. I was awake in bed. I thought it was a really low plane, looked out an saw nothing. Nexd day on the news they said it was an earthquake.England hasn't had an earthquake in I dunno actually. Let's just say a looooooooong time ago lol
There was one last year aswell, minor one tho. -
Man if the Eastern US gets an earthquake of that strength it'll be felt from Maine to Florida (I forgot why). There's a bunch of small faults around the world (even the relatively small island of Manhattan has like 4) so you don't have to be near one of the famous faults to get an earthquake.

In 2008 the UK coast of Lincolnshire had a 5.2. Pretty big for no fault lines. It woke me up 100 miles away. Not as big as Cals though. -

They updated it to be a 7.2 in Mexicali. I felt it at my house about 2 hours north of the mexico border in Cali.

Was even felt by my nurse - I was driving - but I'm wayyyy the hell over in phx. Insane. My mom's in Cali, I'm just glad it wasn't close to her 😒
-
It was actually a 7.2 magnitude so yeah I'm like 2.5 hour drive from epicenter was pretty strong lasted about 79 secounds
