Lotus notes nice 👍 1980s Mmmmm Oh for the use of basic gotos on my Dragon32, who needed structure when you could jump around like a loon! Of course I wanted a BBC but still felt I was above the Sinclair users. Hmmm

85-89 I learned a little bit of BASIC in school. Then in high school I suffered through 2 years of Pascal. Despite making A's, I didn't really get it then & don't remember it now.
Today I can do some HTML, but so can most people. Programming is so not my thing.

I know enough BASIC, FORTRAN, python, perl, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and shell scripting to thoroughly screw up what I was trying to accomplish and have it take 10 times longer than intended.

I built and programmed my first computer in 1970. I think my second computer was an Cosmac Elf (RCA 1802). Next was probably something with an S-100 bus. Too many to count after that.
Languages? I've probably worked with or at least played with most of the popular programming languages. And some not so popular.
These days it's mostly Perl, Obj-C and Bash. Occassionally I still get my hands dirty with Java, PHP or Wiring (Arduino).

Ok, how old are you now? I'm 12.

I've always wanted to get into writing codes and programming, my uncle does it through notepad(HTML) and uses php cart mods to design better ones...

I want to start learning some programming. I know a little HTMl (nothing special though) and I was learning my hand at Python and Java but I had p put them behind some other stuff and have never really gotten round to learning them. Computer Studies in my school is complete balls though, my teachers image of programming is a shitty program called Scratch (look it up if you haven't heard of it).
