I have an '06 Yamaha Vino 50 scooter that needs a carb. Anyone know where I can get a used one or at least cheaper than new. A new one is $300+

Is it completely missing the carb or is something wrong with the carb itself. If your looking to buy a whole new one, buy a performance one. Run you about 125 bucks

What condition is the old one in? Look into rebuilding. Fraction of the cost, and you can learn a bit in the process. Google it. I'm sure there are tutorials out there.

The old one is completely wrecked thanks to our local Yamaha dealer, but they refuse to pay to replace it. As far as a performance one goes, the original is electronic choke and liquid cooled so it would take way more work trying to redo all the other systems. I like the suggestions, don't get me wrong, but I was asking more as a last resort incase someone had a specific solution. Thanks again everyone!

Ya know what's funny? Bout a year ago i found my moms moped from 1985 and we got it patched up and it needed really new everything! Bout 500$!

Liquid cooled should have nothing to do with the carb. If you switch over to manual choke it's easy. Just on lever you adjust once it's warmed up. I've worked on scoots for quite a while. Pm me if you want I might be able to help. Just let me know what was messed up or how by your local shit bags ;)
