What you think when near them
Autism: a socializing disorder( very extreme) -
I think they are alive... And then have just as much of a right to be as myself. I also feel like some people with autism have a serious amount to offer to the human race as a whole. The autistic mind isn't even close to being understood as a whole and I feel some autistic minds have more to contribute to the arts, science, and technology than a majority of people born "normal" sort of speak. The often "single minded" way people with autism think, and perform is remarkable in the specializations their minds function in... If the average person could temporarlay harness that attention and focus of single subjects, and control it for the better good for humanity, than I can't imagine how much the human race as a whole could benefit. The possibilities are simply endless.

Furthermore, I feel honestly ill over the possiblities lost over the eradication of those with "detrimental genes" during the rule of the Nazi's in Germany. During the 30s and 40s, countless people were destroyed and sterilized for not being fit in the Aryan's eyes. So many possibilities lost forever... Also temporarily*. I spelled it wrong.

Great reply, means alot greenman. To Any one else, any advice for people that has autism, or in on of my friends cases...Aspergers?

Many of those people simply murdered by the Aryan cause that include including those with misunderstood cases of autism being include of course, not to mention every other "soul" lost to travesties, atrocities, and horrible events throughout time... Every single life is important. Every single life changes the path humanity walks by simply being, and existing. The apple tree Issac Newton randomly sat under... The man who built the clock Einstein happened to notice while on his way home from work. The little girl playing in the gardens with her cat at Oxford outside Lewis Carrol's window. If that tree, that man, or that little girl named alice and her cat, weren't allowed to live... Then Issac's laws of gravitation might have never been. Or Einstein's theory of relativity may have never been inspired. Or that classic tale about the girl who fell down the rabbit hole may have never been written.

Thank you. I too have given the subject a lot of thought a few times in my life. And that's my conclusion. Every single life has the capacity to change the world. If given the opportunity of course. My only conflicting issue I have with my conclusion of course is abortion. I've thought much about that issue as well, and I feel that as a man, and one who has never produced a baby, I cannot give a opinion. I know nothing about being a woman, or the feelings involved with getting a woman pregnant. So who the hell am I?Great reply, means alot greenman. To Any one else, any advice for people that has autism, or in on of my friends cases...Aspergers?

Oh well I guess I could tell you about this one client I had. He was 15 years old. Had autism. He had aggressive social tendencies, and this caused a lot of people in his life to avoid him. But I chose to just disregard the aggresive way he spoke, instead of try to change it, which had failed several times. That's kid honestly taught me more about physics, paranormal topics, and conspiracies, than anyone else I've ever met. He taught me at the top of his lungs sometimes. But I just chose to accept it, and look at him in a different way. He was set in his ways, and I knew as a first year counselor I wasn't gonna be able to change him. But I could change to suit him. I looked up some of the topics he explained to me, and you know what. He was right, excuse my French, fucking on. He once explained how time wasn't a river flowing, but a sphere. I looked into it... Michio Kaku (world renown physicist) says the same thing.

Ty, the info was helpful. Not trying to sound I'm smart by knowing this, but there is now a amazing autism youth in austraillia that took Einstin's theory a whole 7 times farther. Anyway, Ty for the info, means alot

But that kid diagnosed with autism taught me a hell of a lot. He honestly made me realize and consider the fact that information, regardless of the source, should be considered. I realized that I would have totally missed out on knowing that there are more important currencies than money. People are blind to see that time, information, understanding, consideration, and judgement, are more important than money. Appreciation of situations and people who are unique lead to all of those far more important aspects, The masses today avoid things that make them uncomfortable. And I hope more people wake up to what they are missing out on.

Oh I know. There's actually a 17 year old Australian recently who debated top NASA officials over the moon landings, space travel, and various other missions, and he overwhelmingly won. He left a lot of scientists scratching their heads, and trying to come up with counter agurments to his queries... And they really couldn't.Ty, the info was helpful. Yea, it's amazing how iregant some people can be when it comes to things that are different than they are, just because of an mental i'llness, dosnt mean they can't be smart or amazing. Hopefully one day people will finally ( fully/completely) accept people with autism and Aspergers and actualy learn from them. They have a whole-lot to offer

It's gonna take a lot of deconditioning. Society, in my opinion, has had a long, and unfortunate history of failing to see the big picture, or contemplating what goals and aspirations should be relevant to humanity ever actually being civilized. Because what we are living in now absolutely is not what civilized should be defined as.Yea, it's amazing how iregant some people can be when it comes to things that are different than they are, just because of an mental i'llness, dosnt mean they can't be smart or amazing. If fact not taking time to consider aspects of life, or admire the beautiful moments everyone encounters daily, is actually encouraged. Differences in thinking, acting, and interacting with one another, often compel people to use violence, insults, and spread hatred. Most have a false sense of entitlement based of nothing tangible, or important.

Haha jeez. I've posted some of my deepest convictions and beliefs on turf wars. Stuff I have trouble explaining to my oldest friends. Haha when I read this later it will remind me that I had a great time tonight. I always try to write my drunken philosophies and revolutions down. Thanks for making this thread man. It was an inspiration!

My wifes Aunty has really sever autism, she's now 45, but acts like a 7 year old, she's very argumentative, energetic, and is fascinated with cameras and photos, but you won't meet a more loving human being on this planet, it can sometimes be awkward when she comes to stay with us and we take her out, she was doing the birdy song dance in the middle of tescos, some people don't understand, we took her for Sunday lunch at the pub and she ran around squeezing everyone's cheeks, thankfully they were an understanding bunch,😱

K Ty for the info, any others post someone would like to share?
