North Korea isn't covered by Google Maps unfortunately so there are no streets there

I examined the border and there's no roads but I wouldn't rule it out because I became the Capo of New York by having a turf that was technically in New Jersey.

North Korea is a country so you can't become capo of it. In some odd cases you can become capo of misreported places like states or landmarks though so if you find a city or landmark called North Korea you can become capo of that. But it doesn't necessarily have to be in North Korea.

I'm on Alcatraz, it lists it as capo of Point Reyes Station. I think when I first got there it listed that turfs location as * and then later corrected it to Point Reyes.

Same for Cyprus it doesn't show any roads. I'm going on holiday there soon and wanted to plant a few turfs there

I'm capo in the two biggest cities in Belarus, another Communist dictatorship. I did visit there to plant turfs. You are not allowed to bring in mobile phones to North Korea so you could not do this by GPS, you would have to build over the border.
