Are any of our fine Turf gentlemen participating in Movember?
-
For those who don't know:
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.
Once registered at www.movember.com, men start Movember 1st clean shaven. For the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery. Supported by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas, Movember Mo Bros raise funds by seeking out sponsorship for their Mo-growing efforts.
Mo Bros effectively become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of November. Through their actions and words they raise awareness by prompting private and public conversation around the often ignored issue of men’s health.

Yeah I am did it last year and again this year lol 😄 all for a good cause

I rock the stache most of the time. But for not just mens health awareness. but also to make people aware that I'm lazy, and would rather spend the ten mins it would take to shave on other things. Things such as eating fruit cups without spoons, or staring down children who pass me at malls if I catch them making eye contact. You know? Moustache things.

I'm in Movember, pm me if you want to sponsor and/or see my stach!!!
-
I'm certainly am.
My whole shift at work is taking part. Anything for the good old 🎱s
-
I've done it a few years in a row but I'm giving the canvas a year off this year...
-
Haven't shaved in 3 weeks.... I started early
-
Was participating until I had job interviews...
-
Isn't it prostate cancer awareness month too? I think I have a turf dedicated to this cause from last year - rather than turn my turf brown. 😄
-
I've heard of mustache March, no movember

I am Mo Bro, once again...
In my books, its a good cause, so it should to be supported.
Plus... I get to say 'I have come to clean ze pool' :) -
That's awesome, guys. If I was a dude (or really good at growing facial hair), I'd do it too. :)

As you were at the pub rather than in a bar I will assume that you're British and I think the reason you weren't aware of it is that it only really took off here last year (although I work with a guy who also did it the year before). It's quite amusing all the different styles that people grow and makes for some great embarrassing photos for years to come. But as its for a good cause it's well worth doing or simply just sponsoring someone else that's doing it.

No shave november!

My girl won't let me do it... (I do have a full beard though right now)
