Saw this on the news. Very sad. My Condolences fellas.

Agreed. Would be more than happy to debate outside of this thread if it can be done positively. That being said this thread was a request for prayer if you believed in that sort of thing. Please read the thread history before posting. The content should have been obvious.

A request for a prayer is a generic and common thing in this sort of situation, I read this and was aware of it. I was referring more to you getting into detailing specific chapters and verses from the Bible in response to my original post - something which takes the thread down a whole different path of religiosity.
But anyway, for another thread as we agree.

There is no right thing here apart from offering condolences which was the first thing I did. The rest is all pretty irrelevant.

Threadslike this are not the place to dispute or debate religious beliefs (or lack of).
In the face of tragedy, we all turn to whatever we believe in to find comfort and solace.
Condolences, or simply "my thoughts are with you" should suffice if you do not believe as the OP does.
This is directed at no one in particular. Please do not compound these fines folks grief with your petty bickering and differences.
