Just wondering what everyone here thinks about dubstep. I love most of it. And Aussie hip hop. Any suggestion of dubstep I should check out??

How new are you too it? A good starter is Benga, Skream, Doctor P, Flux Pavillion and then just get deeper, dirtier and lead into UKG, Jungle, Grime and Drum&Bass....😄

Dupstep is great!
Listen to Skrillex all the time, Zomboy makes some well made tunes.
In general, techno-ish music I do like, Deadmau5 is Nice aswell

Prolugez, a friend of mine, makes Dubatep, search him up on Google/YouTube/Soundcloud/randomshitmusiccomesfrom
He is realeasing a Album soon, no more then a few weeks! Yay

This might sound dumb.....but is there a name for metal mixed with drum and bass? I've heard some songs like that but I want more!

Look for 1xtra on Internet radio if youve access. I don't know if you'll be able to listen outside if the UK but go to bbc.co.uk/1xtra now as they have a good solid hour or so of Dubstep. It's a decent starting point.

Well, your not famous if people don't listen to You. He sells out alot, calling him a joke to the dubstep community frankly is incorrect.
If anything I have alot of friends that got into dubstep cuss of him.
And as I said, he sells, people obviously like him... The people that buys his tickets must like him?

No, i am correct. He uses the same effects, the same sounds and he just sounds like techno. The only people that like skrillex, are the people that dont listen to any other dubstep artists. Ever heard of Rusko? Flux Pavillion? Netsky? Dodge & Fuski? Probably not.

Paragon and Pab, Your both kinda right. Yes, Skrillex does sound a little too over commercial, uses the same old effects... but it can only be good for the scene. Dubstep is still relatively new so hopefully he's good for it.

I still remember the dark days of DNB an that came bouncing back!
