A and D are both correct, which would mean chances are 50%, a contradiction. This is a trick question.

one witch would choose the watch closest to her, being a psychological choice. Assuming that the watches are in the same area, the other witch would be forced to choose the remaining watch.

that's wrong. because A and D are both right, that would mean you have a 50% percent chance to get it right. which would mean that C is right. but because there is only 25% chance that you will get C, C is wrong. therefore the answer us A or D. o back to start. get what I mean?
