I have an extra ipod touch. Im thinking about starting an extra account and mailing the ipod around the world to see how many turfs I could get in unique places. Now...there is a huge trust factor here in mailing something to someone u dont know and hoping they mail it back. I wouldn't use the account to better my position in the game and I would leave all turf at a 1inf. Any thoughts?

Yea it definately 'sounds' good, but unless you personally know somebody in all these unique places in which you wish to build turf at, don't do it. You will not get your iPod back!

Theoretically you've got a creative idea. In reallity this is too good of an opportunity for anyone that's little short on cash or wants a new gadget.

I think it's a great idea. If you're worried about getting the iTouch back, which is a pretty reasonable concern, just insure it.

Why don't you just get us to do it (the regulars playing the game). Keep track of it in an around the world thread...that way we all know who it's going to & if someone doesn't send it back at least we can beat them down on the game. We need a few more mobs in San Diego ;)

I think it can be done. Look at the forum. Read peoples posts. That can give you some idea of who you may oray not trust. Stick with regular posters here too. That way you can always call them out if something goes wrong.
Ultimately it would best for each person to send it back toy to send to the next person. Just a little added security.
And each shipping shouldbe done with a tracking number and signature required.
I've actually considered sending my phone to somone on the other islands here, but it's someone I know.
That being said, I'd be happy to get you some nice Hawaiian turf if you are serious about this. And not that it matters, but I'd share my eBay profile with you. 10+ years. Hundreds of transactions. 100% positive.

Another issue you might have if you sent it around the world is all these people having a capatible wifi network.

I say everyone who gets it mailed to them do a youtube video then u will know which douchebag kept it.
Example: make a post n everyone can post they will keep it going. Then u atart it off with a youtube explaining. And u announce you will mail to said individual. Said individual will then repeat.

Who's old enough to remember northern exposure. One episode kid posted box around the globe and asked strangers to put something in it and forward it somewher else. His parents were poor and he wanted to see the world. Anyway, if you need a turf in London give me a shout 👍
