Assuming there's truth to this I'd ditch the price tag (as a priority) and go for something with good gas mileage as my focus. We Texans seem to inevitably drive a lot. Honda Civic is what we're driving. Can't put much in it at once but you can do all your shopping and the repairs for flying or road debris (quarter panels and windshield) and bumper damage aren't too bad. Other cars in that class are comparable and some get better gas mileage if you have the initial $ to shell out for the sticker price. Me? I'd buy used. It's rough out there sometimes.

What is the gas mileage for an Evoque? And do you thinkit can fit up to 6 people well?Well what else are you looking for? I mean there's about 10,000 or more choices if the only stipulations are a car under 75k that is able to be driven in Texas. Whenever I'm in Texas I see a lot of beemers, and pick ups. F-150, F-350, Ram, Silverado, avalanche. But a great new mid sized SUV I just had the pleasure to drive recently was the Range Rover Evoque. It's the new model from land rover. 4 wheel drive. Great suspension. Pretty decent gas milage. Cool electric blue color option. Plus the whole "range rover" flash appeal. I drive an 11 range rover supercharged, and my sister just got the evoque, and the drive is just as nice as mine. Plus hers only ran $62k fully equipped.
