I agree and disagree with that. I agree that mostly all R&B sounds the same. I also think that most rap today is all the same.But It depends where you look. Your only scraching the surface if you only look at mainstream music. Most underground rap has meaning behind it. But yeah,mainstream music as a whole,has definately gone downhill.

Mainstream I what matters when making an arguement. There's always good stuff out there but you have to go by what the average is

Though Loco and I have settled our differences, and I'm not pointing any of this at him because he's got enough problems as is, I have some points I'd like to make about the general topic of this thread.

1. This thread is heavily biased to American teenagers. In countries that have strict rules like China, there are very few upstarts. And even then, not all American teens are like that. Those are just bad eggs, every group has them.

2. Though fancy graphics are valued in todays age, making an FPS like Modern Warfare isn't an easy job. I've done programming, and the kind of stuff needed to create good games today requires persistence, teamwork, and knowledge that isn't easily learned.

3. Also on the "fancy graphics" point, look at Minecraft. That game probably has MORE pixels showing than an old-school mario game or Pac-Man.

4. Quite like creating gaming, music takes much effort to make. Regardless of how it sounds, there is still feeling put into those. Emotion. Hard work. Not much else to say.

5. I kinda have to agree with the "clothes hug even tighter". It's a fact, clothes back then were a lot more "breezy" than clothes now. Just changing trends, perhaps it'll change again.

6. People DO walk a lot. There's a reason sidewalks on streets still exist.

7. Politicians are always kings of the fence. I have to agree with you on that one.

8. CLothes are a preference. Some like different types.

I'm a little tired to add more, but generations will change. People born today might be saying the same things about the next generations. I did agree on some things though.
