code site blues

i dont mean to bash or complain but recently mobcode.org has an astounding number of bad codes. i've always been a proponent of that site mostly because i started there. I have however used turfwarsdb.com for temp codes.
my question is, should i continue using a crappy mobcode.org and deal with the bad codes or switch full time to turfwarsdb and suffer through punching codes i've already punched from mobcode?

I'd have to agree with you, its clearly being lett behind the fight calculator isn't up to date.
The codes are quite poor.
I have pondered the same question, it's taking me ages to get any bigger.
I think I'll jump ship too -
Turfwarsdb.com shits all over other code sites 👍

I use db for regular codes but have recently gone back to info for temps. Ppl will tell you that every site gets the same codes but info actually posts them all. I know this because about 3 weeks ago I finished the temps on db and had no more regular codes to punch. I was bored and there were only 160 temps out so I punched he temps on info. There were about 6-10 codes that weren't on db. I even went back to db to check, those codes never showed up. I still like the setup for regular codes on db though.

And to answer your q, if you select them the become marked to denote they were punched.

TurfwarsDB for temps (and regs), Invitecodematrix.com for regs👍

I do the same but they have some good points for questioning the temp codes. I've seen codes that were posted and only good for a like an hour. Is that because it was picked up late? How often are they added to the site and could we be missing some because they were not added soon enough? Where do temp codes come from? Is it an automated or manual process? Who gets them first?TurfwarsDB for temps (and regs), Invitecodematrix.com for regs👍

As far as I know db has the most frequent checks for temp codes. They're generated by nick and need an API key tI access. From there it's the sites ability to check for temps either by hand or using an automated process. Db uses an automated process and checks frequently. I've heard rumors of temps that db doesn't have and have checked those sites right after and db had them. It could he a difference in times the codes were taken.

That's what I though, frequently automated process. I never seen a temp code on matrix or other sides that was not on DB either. I'll stick with DB for temp. Now I have seen some reports of variations of temps. For the sake of completiOn we are working on double checking temps.

My answer to wangberg. I go to multiple code sites and compare codes daily. As of the last two months mobcode is way behind the curve producing less than half of what some other sites do. I'd head elsewhere before you get too much deeper

Codematrix is better

The first time (3 months ago) I punched 1500 codes on mobcode;
100 were fakes (or old codes);
50 I already had;
and I went up 1350 mob.My computer broke and I had it fixed recently,
Two weeks ago I punched another 1500 codes;
800 were fakes (or old codes);
400 I already had;
and I went up 300 mob.Now is it just me or is that a big difference?

I used to do twdb. But then they kicked me out and won't let me register back in. I guess I was mobbing up too fast.
-
My assumption has been that mobcode & twdb (and others) mostly get all the same codes (partly through scraping), both the bad and good ones. The difference with twdb is that volunteers (read: mostly B) go through twdb and delete out the verified bad codes so that the rest of us are able to just punch mostly good codes.

twdb is better now IMO. I've went up 100 mob and punched 130 codes....

I use twdb. I was around 2400 when I started and I punch all temps every day, and up to 300 a night if I have time. I started about a month ago and now I'm 5401. I'm pretty content with those #'s
