I can't fly from Toronto to Calgary or Edmonton but I can get to Vancouver which is on the west coast while the other 2 cities are in the middle. Anyone else notice weirdness like this with other airports?

Most of the ppl I know don't even use milage as a term we judge distance by time ie it's 5 mins down the road or it's an hour away. Not 5 km down the road. I've noticed in the states they'll say it's a couple miles or a tenth of a mile then make a left. And EH sounds much better then HUH!
