I am familiar with heany. I mean obviously the English aren't responsible for the spoilage of a crop, but the fact that the Irish were forced to sustain an entire population on tubers is completely due to English occupation. and I'm not even touching on later issues of internment and the troubles.

I already miss my old block. I had a bodega on one end, the Williamsburg housing projects on the other end, the puerto rican lesbian laundromat with the lady that looks like old Eric Clapton, and a building full of trust fund artists and the hacidic landlords with their hats and curls. I had one turf called "chinegro hipster." but this is actually pretty accurate of the person I saw in that area. I heart ny.
