Look much better, not sure I'll go with the Fire though, only eight hours of reading time and no e-ink.

With the price point and free 3G I think the iPad may have a serious competitor finally.

Yup. Amazon is pushing all the right buttons. the biggest selling point is the price. It never is good practises to offer a complete range of features in your products first release. Something Apple however excel at with every release. It'll be interesting to see what iPad 3 brings to the table. Give it time, the Amazon phone is surely in the pipeline I can guarantee it! In fact, I'd bet my account on it!

Oh sorry, thought u were talking about the most recent kindle, not the new one being released on Nov. That one looks really cool, and I so want it bad👍

Never been a kindle fan..... But..... I'm liking the look of the new one.
I'm still in the mindset of "iPad will always be king of tablet"..... If I want my iPad to do word processing etc etc I'll just use my laptop.

Don't get the fire! They just wanted something for Xmas this year. Number 2 is already in the pipeline, supposed to come out early 2012. I'm most excited about the web browser, silk. Splitting the processing between the device and the cloud, sounds sweet to me.

There is no mention of 3G, let alone free 3G. I'm pretty sure it's wifi only.

It says free 3G on the Fire too, but I agree I'm going to wait for a larger model before getting a tablet like that. The browser might be cool too.

Been looking for a good e-reader though so will prolly pick up the 3G Touch.

Nah, my parents are so busy all of the time I think that they feel guilty and they just buy me all of this stuff. I'm serious, they never spend tine with me so they buy me stuff as compensation
