Believe it or not the rb26 block could push 1000+hp really easy! A set of cams, single turbo, and boost the shit out of it. The block is bullet proof in oem form. I don't get to tune skylines on the daily but a few customers have cars with rb swaps. 240's, even a supra. Yes he dumped the 2jzMaybe so but 1200 hp! Be realistic
Example: 96 240sx stock rb26 with rb25 trans, single t88 turbo with 4inch exhaust I've made 839 ponys at around 20psi. The car runs 9.20's all day when it's not breaking transmissions. The block could handle 30+ psi stock.
Now imagine the guys in japan that deal with Jun and stroke the motors to 2.8-3.0L's
I believe Jun has a video on the site of a 1500hp monster.
If you goto the rb forums there's a few guys close to 2k hp

There was only a couple of 1000+ skylines about and you can't even get the year/model right -

But you still put GTR in your first post! 1200 bhp through the rear wheels.....hmm,so I'm guessing you went through tyres every 100 miles then, tell me where I can see this car then, pictures?YouTube?google?
-
I'm not going to argue over it. Look at the evo magazine drag race on YouTube between the Porker, McLaren, 458 and the Noble. Please feel free to tell me who crosses the line last. Good night.

Not telling a "porky", just a mis type, it was a '92 R32 GTS... Btw..the HP was 1200
Couldn't find a 1200hp GTS on google or YouTube, they are all GTRs.....it would be big news to have a huge power GTS so.......🐽🐽🐽🐽🐽

What your talking about is the Porsche turbo , I'm talking about the turbo "S" which is a totally different car . Watch the video I suggested as I watched yours :)I'm not going to argue over it. I am to young to drive yet but I like the look of the lambogini merchilago (I think that's how to spell it) or the buggati varon (I think that's how to spell that one to)

I dont see you making 1200hp without spending about 10-15k and it don't make sense to spend the money on making that motor capable. -

Wow I'm glad you guys know more than my two Japanese friends who tuned the car and no it was not 10-15k. In Japan parts were a little cheaper.🔥Jus' Blaze🔥 wrote:

Ok i don't care where in japan u were but parts are kinda expensive. I deal direct with hks,Jun, spoon, feels, mugen etc.. I get parts at wholesale and have to pay just a bit more shipping/custom fees, besides I've had convo's with the sellers about local prices. Cars, land,PARTS! Everythings about the same as state side.. So bs somewhere else.

Virus had it right. You know what is half the weight of all these cars, and thus about twice as fast due to power to weight ratios? A motorcycle. If you really want to go fast get yourself a 2005 kawasaki 636 ninja. Now there is speed. Not to good in the snow, but that would bring me back to the point about the 87 Toyota 4x4. Trucks beat 1000 fictitious horse power anyway in the snow. 🔫🔫©

You might be mistaken JB, unless you were on the racing circuit that may have been possible. I'm pretty sure the R34 could have came off the dyno at around 12, but not the GTS. If you don't believe me I can ask the dude that tuned my car in Okinawa.C63 wrote:

Current everyday ride = 2001 Lincoln Nav.
Weekend/fun car = 1970 Mach 1
And oh yeah a 1999 Toyota Camry

Well all this skyline talk my daily driver is a purple series2 r33 gtst skyline , has around 400hp and is enuf to fry the tyres easily , keeps me happy for now......

I've had the same old delorean forever. Not a speedster, but oh once it hits 88mph lookout!!🚗🚗🚗🚗

Btw jus blaze less then 10-15k? Good deals u got..
I know a few prices for a basic inline 6 build.
Stroker kit- Pistons,rods, crank, rings.
Brain crower(us owned company) 5.8k
Tomei-(Japanese company) 5.5kTurbo- depends on size and setup. But for 1200hp ur lookin at atleast a gt47R or bigger
Anywhere from $2-4k
I don't wanna hear shit cuz civic guys pay between $1600-&2.5 (smaller turbos)Head work-$1500-$4k.. On a 4cyl I charge $2200 for a full race port n polish.
Block work- boring, honing, any machining. You could spend upto $1000 easy.
Assembly- on a 4cyl I charge $1500-$3000 for a fully assembled swap. (blue print, balanced, speced within range)
On a 6cyl anywhere from $2500-$4000. Same as above.
I do however charge more since I do most of my machine work. Besides u get what you pay for.
Tune, stand alone, tires, exhaust, intake manifold.. Your looking atleast $600-$1000 for a good tune, standalone $1700+..
I could keep going

For grins, check out Ken Block in his 650+ hp ford fiesta (plus what I think has four independent brakes)...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TshFWSsrn8&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Or listen to what nice Macleod pipes sound like on a jaguar xk8...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5R8d9dLUEc&feature=youtube_gdata_player
With stock pipes you can be driving along listening to the wind whistling in the antenna and look down and notice you are going 130 or more...nice to be able to hear the engine at times. Think on the newer xk series cars the either mic the engine sound into the car audio system or simulate the roar.

Spending all that money on a GTS which to me would be undrivable and dangerous instead of spending the money on a GTR!
It would be like me buying a impreza sport and plowing shed loads of money on it to get above and beyond an STI! Your either a bit thick or a lier -
A friend has placed an order for the new C-class coupe AMG with sports pack.... Looks fierce... I just couldn't justify spending the best part of £80k on a merc.

That's what I'm talking about!😜Sure fast cars are cool, but you know what is better? A truck. I mean a real truck. Like a 1987 toyota with 33" super swampers. 125hp, about 90hp at the wheels. May not sound like much but let's see how fast your car is climbing the side of a mountain or plowing through a lake of mud. 🔫🔫©

A lot of these folks have no idea how much $$ and work goes into making a 1000+ HP car. Those of you that have your 1000+ cars post up the car forum and your SN you use on it or post up your build page. Is that crickets I hear?
