I have played prop, lock and loose fwd. I'm an American and I think rugby is far superior to American football.

How what? I played for an under 19 team in Sonoma then played for the Santa Rosa junior college club, we actually went to the elite 8 tournament the year I played. Those are the positions that I have played.Robo37 wrote:

If your asking how it's better then it's obvious you have never played.
-
I like sevens more than fifteens.

Try the faster version Rugby League rather than the traditional slow Rugby Union. League did away with some of the crazy slowing rules to make it more entertaining. Fewer players clogging up the pitch as well. The Aussie NRL Grand Final is coming up on Sunday - Sea Eagles v Warriors - watch and be amazed

Played for years and watch rugby regularly. For those yanks who don't understand rugby is a sport played all over the world. How you can possibly think gridiron football is better baffles me when it is only played seriously in the US. There is a reason for that, think about it. Ireland for world cup woop.
-
Oh also I'm flying to new Zealand this Friday. Just in time for Ireland vs Italy. 32 hours traveling but totally worth it.

I think rugby looks like soccer but there's hugging and carrying. Doesn't look better than American Football to me.

Never played rugby in my life & can't find a reason too...seems like something for a family picnic, for all the women & kids to join in! More for everyone that's why it's played world wide, like golf...US football on the other hand isn't for everyone...here moms don't want their kids to play football...it ain't for everyone!!! -
I hope your not serious about that👆. American football is played at family picknicks by grandmas. The only parents who don't let their kids play it are the paranoid ones who got rid of our wonderful metal slides and jungle gyms, cause they are "too dangerous". Rugby is far more brutal than football. I started playing football in 3rd grade, the worst injury I ever received was getting my bell rung. In rugby the least I've walked away from a game with is a few bruises. My fav was when I had a bruise shaped like a boot on my thigh.
