Just found out my next assignment, after nine years being overseas I'm finally heading back to the land that has given me so much.
I start work at the new location on the 5th of July!!! 🍻🇺🇸🎉

We have not chatted much but welcome back stateside. I appreciate what you have done for your country, her needs, protecting her citizens and my family. I am PROUD of all our soldiers (fallen or not). In my eyes, all the men & women of our armed forces are HEROS in my eyes. 🇺🇸 'Salute'🇺🇸

I'm actually not active duty anymore, but I couldn't agree more on the troop sentiments. I work with active duty from all four of the main branches here and assignment wise this is a pretty good deal for them. Danger pay, they don't pay taxes, and it's not a dry country.
I talk to quite a few of them, especially the Marines at the Embassy so will show them your kind words at Thursdays happy hour.
Mojo, check my first turf out and you can see where I'm at now, before that Pakistan and Azerbaijan. And I start work on the 5th, I'll be back for training/leave before that, so I'll be where I should be for the 4th. 🍻🍺🍻🍺🍻
