Well you should try to rome around there around the time he was walking the dog. Most people do it at the same time every day. Find out where his house is and call animal control once you pinpoint him.My wife drove off the guy would of attacked her if she had gotten out of the car but we know around where this guy might live. At least she spoke up
-
Ya that's a good idea I'm going to go there now and drive around actually maybe we might see where he lives and report him
-
I would have tied a shirt, or some cloth over my face. Park my car a block away. Pull him into an alley, and kick the shit out of him. Smash his phone. Then grab the dog, and leave quick. Then I would find the dog a proper owner. As was said before, cops won't do anything without proof.

One time I was walking down my street and saw a lady hit her barking dog with a stick. I rang her doorbell and yelled at her for 5 minutes.
Total shite.

I was walking through some farmlands(on vacation), when I saw a guy beating his dog. When I asked why, he said it was because that the dog had bit and killed a farmer's chicken. he was worried that now that the dog had tasted blood, it might be more aggressive.
Can somebody explain?

I would have never spoke to such a person as it would have been a waste of energy. I WOULD have called the authorities. I have the sad experience of being an animal advocate for most of my life. Studied animal advocacy as my senior thesis in college. Complex issue here.
The sad fact is that in the US people get away with extreme animal abuse. This is nothing really. I doubt the police would do anything at all. Law in most states is quite lax. Heck, game fighting and factory farms are hard to get shut down in this country. Also, many people are willing to shoot endangered animals. Really, my experience dealing with these situations is quite frustrating. The best thing to do would have been to have video evidence of this guy and video of police interaction with him. You might have been able to pressure local authorities to not be lax on animal abuse. Especially, against a household pet.

Ironically, the same people who defend poodles advocate abuse daily by going to the grocery. A purchase of meat advocates abuse much more horrifying than this. Anyhow, this abuse is acceptable to most Americans although philosophically or mathematically it seems hard to logically justify the two diverging attitudes. Basically, if people cannot cuddle you, do not enjoy looking at you, or hunt you are screwed. This is all the more reason these events should be reported to police. Many studies have shown animal abuse and attitudes to be a beginning of even more disturbing perversities. People like the gentleman described disgust me.

I have seen people with hunting dogs (poodles, weims, labs, ect) actually think they have bad dogs if the dog points or barks at birds.

Either way what cruelty someone does against a innocent animal I'm convinced they will one day have to be judged and will be for any harm they do.

Dogs know their role, especially on a farm. Something similar happened with my nana's dog. Bit a sheep, killed the sheep, and tasted blood. They planned to destroy the dog, but eventually kept it after my uncle beat him near the barn. Farming is a livelihood for many people and a dog that acts out in the extreme sometimes does more harm than good ... Once they taste blood, their instincts drive them to do it again. Fortunately my nana's dog learned, didn't harm additional sheep, wasn't destroyed, and lived out the rest of its life happily.I was walking through some farmlands(on vacation), when I saw a guy beating his dog. Is there really much we can do? fighting another person over what they do to their animals will only introduce more troubles. calling authorities sometimes leads to a worse case scenario for the animal and there are already thousands of wacko people who don't understand the proper conditions for an animal (not saying the poster's wife didn't experience a terrible scene). Where do you think all the dogs go after time spent in a rescue program? not all are rehabilitated or adopted and most are destroyed. Maybe they are better off destroyed? I live in china and have seen some really terrible environments for animals in the markets and in the homes of people. i've also seen wonderful environments. The best we can do is give our own pet the best possible life. I feed my cat a 100% raw meat diet and in the process i don't know how many chickens, ducks, pigeons, and rabbits i've had slaughtered...but this is the injustice of nature, all for the wellbeing of my own pet.

That guy deserves to get shot.
-
I wish I could slaughter pigeons, bunnies and duckies for my 🐱. I eat them all up. my 🐱 is on a meat cereal diet. they are fat but happy. I'd also feed them guinea pigs.
people set cats on fire and dog folks think this is funny. but people also crate their dogs and leave em in there for 12 hours. at least the guy was walking him.

That's just human nature to eat meat, though. I was a vegetarian from 4th-7th grade, and every one always asked "Why?" and I would tell them, I don't believe in animals being slaughtered after being abused for me to have a full stomach. I'm good with a Boca Burger and maybe some salad. 👍Ironically, the same people who defend poodles advocate abuse daily by going to the grocery. For example, the turkeys we eat during thanksgiving and so on. Are raised specifically to be fat and have an ample amount of eatible meat on the breast and legs. Farm raised turkeys are typically more than twice the body weight of a normal turkey in the wild
-
The female turkeys are also artificially inseminated by the semen of the gateau male turkeys to pass on the genes of being very big.

Why the fuck do you know so much about turkey sex?
