Agree. The first three are important and the last, spellin, not so important. Or is it? Are we moving toward a mindless doublespeak society by allowing the degradation of language? Lol, WTF, ya know. 🔫🔫©Humility

Work ethic. Ariving at work and working harder than everyone else gets more praise and takes you further than knowing more and doin fuck all.
(but of course learn as much as possible,) -
Common sense.

1. The ablility to be liked by everyone. Everyone likes to be around "that guy". Earn the repect of those people and become a leader and influence them in a good way.
2. The ability to serve. If you can be a leader that interacts and helps with your followers, then that just makes you more likable.
3. Something that drives you. Get a motivation. Work and strive for it. Being able to focus on a something and give it your undivided attention is a must.
And 4. Common sense and a good puzzle solving brain. Not everybody is gifted with that but certainly everyone can learn it. -
Coping skills and insight

You're right, I didn't define success. In life I believe success can minimumly be defined as the ability to live independently from any government agency or "parent" figure. Also, you are able to make a positive impact on those around you.the Fish wrote:
Then again, what is sucess?I'm not saying that respect isn't important. I'm saying that it's so uncommon that it's essentially unnecessary to life success. I see disrespect jerks everyday!! And they're the ones that drive luxury cars. I want to know what makes anyone successful after school that they may learn in school?
Is sucess driving in a luxury car?
Im sorry, but to me that seems A bit shallow.
In my mind "successful" doesen't mean disrespectful bastard with nice carsThen again, what do I know?

A killer rack doesn't hurt. Growing or obtaining one by any means isn't a "life skill" so much as knowing how to use it.
Also, the Asian's #1- I'll add to that. I think he meant charisma. Some people have that...je ne sais quoi that just attracts people to their personality & some of them are lucky enough to skate by on that for a good while.

Depends if by 'successful' you mean career wise, or relationship wise. Two different things, in my experience.

When did being successful enter the discussion? I'd a life skill we would find most necessary is our self awareness. So using your eyes, as well as your expansive vocabulary, can make your thread postings more 'successful'.
